This family…oh, this family! I love that they let me show up and just start shooting and documenting their lives each time we get together. I love that I get to capture the smiles, the giggles, the pouts, and the tears, because they want to remember it all. I also have a super sweet soft spot for these sweet siblings because they remind me so much of my own son and daughter with their interactions.

I got to shoot Lauren and Hunter’s gorgeous wedding last fall and was so surprised and excited to get to photograph and spend time with them again so soon! Lauren contacted me this summer to schedule a session to celebrate a few things like their 30th birthdays and her graduating. They had a big year together and these photos were mostly to celebrate and document their time together. How sweet is that? If looking at these photos reminds you of the one you love, tell them. Celebrate them. Then maybe hire me to document that, okay? No pressure.
Kelly and Jared were married on one of the hottest days of the year (literally) at an absolutely gorgeous new venue here in Keller called The Bowden. It was a day filled with love, family, friends, gorgeous light, amazing food, and a whole lot of fun!

Venue – The Bowden Events & Weddings Our family went to Crested Butte, Colorado for the best spring break vacation ever and while we were there, my sister in law got engaged! We’ve pretty much all known this was coming since the first time we met Sean about two years ago. He fit right into our family from day one and he and Allie have made each other so happy! Also, as I scroll through these photos again I find myself asking myself again and again…WHY do we live in Texas?! I joked that it felt like we were driving through a real life Bob Ross painting when we were driving through the mountains. So many happy little trees!
When I met Sarabeth and Cameron earlier this year it honestly felt like I was having coffee with two old friends! We talked and laughed and I knew just from that meeting that their big day was going to be fun and extra sweet. But, nothing could have prepared me for how gorgeous it was going to be! It was the day after Thanksgiving so everything was feeling warm and fuzzy after the holiday and I just kept thinking to myself what a magical time of year it was to get married. Their friends and family were all so fun and ready to celebrate and it was so great to see everyone’s hard work come to life for their wedding day!
