I had Emily and Chase’s wedding on the books for over a year and it was worth every bit of that wait! Emily and I would meet up for dinner (okay happy hours) to gab about wedding stuff and usually end up hours later realizing we hadn’t really talked much about weddings, but we sure did get our gossip on. I love this girl! The whole day was so relaxed and fun and just absolutely perfect. The Bell Tower Chapel & Gardens in Fort Worth was absolutely perfect for the vintage style wedding day she planned so perfectly.
Emily spoiled her bridesmaids with robes from Pretty Plum Sugar. I’ve seen these robes all over wedding blogs and recognized them immediately! They were perfect. So soft and gorgeous and they sure looked great in the getting ready photos.
I’m totally jealous that Emily has a picture with her furbabies on her wedding day. These sweet babies are Bella and Red and are were so sweet! We snapped this photo right before heading to the chapel.
Chase and the guys all looked so dapper in their gray suits and vests and they really complimented the gray J. Crew bridesmaid dresses and Emily’s custom gown from Bliss Bridal. It also didn’t hurt that the entire bridal party was gorgeous!
Emily worked so hard gathering antique furniture, luggage, typewriters, vases and other touches to give her wedding a touch of vintage glam. It all tied in so perfectly with the venue!
I shot this wedding just five weeks after giving birth to my sweet son. I always teared up a bit before at weddings during the first dance and sometimes during the father daughter dance. But it wasn’t until having a son of my own that seeing the Groom dancing with his mother had me choked up. I’m talking eyes stinging, tears streaking down my face, can’t see to focus my camera choked up! It was the sweetest moment of the day for me. Motherhood has changed the way I see lots of things, but I guess I never anticipated that it would change the way I saw things at work!
